Dress reform graphics collection, 1880-1891.

This portion of the collection contains engravings of Kate Field's Cooperative Dress Association Limited, New York City, to promote lower prices and simpler dress styles; a woman having a plaster cast made of her legs for use by art students; a corset with a padlock at the waist; and color political cartoons of "implements of torture leading to early death" (corset, high heels) and women at Chautauqua starting a dress reform movement.
